* Shion refers here precisely to THE Kirschwasser that played a major role during the events of Episode 1 both in Xenosaga The Animation and in the DS version. In The Animation, this Kirschwasser died by sacrificing herself into the Proto Merkabah that was collapsing. In the DS version, she died because she decided to be absorbed by the Vessel of Anima of the E.S. Simeon, in order to help Albedo.
